CHICAGO - Fresh off a season-opening win over UIC last Saturday, the DePaul men's tennis team hits the road for the first time in 2013 when they travel to West Lafayette, Ind. to face Purdue.

First serve is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. CT at the Schwartz Tennis Center.

DePaul brings a 1-0 dual match record into the meeting, while Purdue opened its 100th season in program history with three consecutive shutout victories last Saturday. The Boilermakers beat both Toledo and IUPUI 7-0, and dismissed Butler by a 4-0 ledger.

The two teams met as ranked opponents last season with then-No. 68 DePaul claiming an exciting 4-3 win over the 64th-ranked Boilermakers on January 22, 2012 at Lakeshore Sport & Fitness.

Following the contest, the Blue Demons will have a short break between competitions. Next up will be a trip to Eugene, Ore. for three matches in three days, beginning with a match-up against Nevada on February 1 at 2:30 p.m. CT.
