CHICAGO – After starting its spring season 2-0 at the Lakeshore Athletic Club last weekend, the DePaul men’s tennis hits the road for a pair of road duals this weekend.  The Blue Demons tangle at New Mexico tonight at 7 p.m. and play a neutral site dual with Texas A&M Corpus Christi on Saturday.

Both duals will be played at New Mexico's Linda Estes Tennis Complex.

The Blue Demons swept their opening weekend, defeating both UIC and Detroit, 7-0 on their home courts.  Dating back to last season, the Blue Demons have won their last four duals at the corner of Fullerton and Lakewood.

Led by Bartosz Jozwiak’s 9-5 singles record, the Blue Demons have combined for an impressive 45-26 singles record -- while George Chanturia and Matija Palinic each have eight singles win.

More impressive is DePaul’s play in doubles.  Sven Kasper and Jozwiak lead the squad with a 12-3 mark and have won their last six matches.  In the pair’s last five matches, they have surrendered just 11 sets and blanked Detroit’s No. 1 pair 8-0.

Following their trip to the Southwest, the Blue Demons return to the Lakeshore Athletic Club for two home matches.  DePaul host Dartmouth on Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. and No. 63 Iowa on Feb. 5.
