Men's Tennis Looks For 2-0 Start Saturday Against Green Bay

CHICAGO -- The DePaul men's tennis team will look to start the 2014 spring season 2-0 when it hosts visiting Green Bay on Saturday (Jan. 25) afternoon.

Match time between the Blue Demons (1-0) and Phoenix (0-0) is scheduled for 3 p.m.

DePaul opened the season with a convincing 6-1 victory over UIC last Friday (Jan. 17) at home. The Blue Demons won 5-of-6 singles matches and 2-of-3 doubles matches to seal the match. Filip Dzanko (No. 1), Kyle Johnson (No. 2), Paul John (No. 4), Tim Corwin (No. 5) and Joshua Schramm (No. 6) all registered singles victories for the Blue Demons last week.

In doubles play, Corwin and Adam Reinhart (No. 2) and John and Schramm (No. 3) were the winning Blue Demon pairs.

Saturday's match between DePaul and Green Bay marks the final home match for the Blue Demons until Feb. 21 when they host Bradley. DePaul will play its next four matches on the road.
