Men's Tennis Serves at the Harvard Kick-Off Tournament
CHICAGO - The DePaul men's tennis team travels to Cambridge, Massachusetts for the Harvard Kick-Off Tournament, Jan. 29-30. The Blue Demons will play three dual matches in two days at Harvard's Murr Center. The Blue Demons are slated to play a dual with No. 67 Mississippi State on Friday at 7:30 a.m. (CST) while they will play the doubles portion of their dual with No. 61 Harvard at 5 p.m. On Saturday, DePaul plays a morning dual with No. 62 BYU before closing out the tournament with singles action against Harvard at 6:30 p.m. The Blue Demons (3-1) opened their 2010 dual campaign with home wins over UIC, the University of Chicago and Northern Illinois before falling at Western Michigan last weekend. DePaul is led by Mathias Hambach and Matija Palinic. Hambach boasts a team-best 13-5 record, while Palinic also reached the 13 win mark but has six losses. In doubles action, Ben Hartman and Bartosz Jozwiak have won their last five matches and have an impressive 13-2 record. Following the Harvard Kick-Off the Blue Demons return to Chicago and host Illinois State (Feb. 6), Green Bay (Feb. 6), Middle Tennessee State (Feb. 14) and Toledo (Feb. 19).
