Men's Tennis Sweeps Weekend Action

CHICAGO – The DePaul men’s tennis team posted a pair of dual match victories on Friday, beating Drake 5-2 in Milwaukee and then disposing of Butler 4-1 later in the day.

Against Drake, the Blue Demons opened the match by winning two of the three doubles matches, with Jebenij Cariov and Dan Bennett winning at No. 2 and David Pitsch and Sam Davidson winning at No. 3.

In singles play, DePaul won four of the six, including Cariov’s win at No. 1

In the afternoon match, Butler took two of the three doubles matches but the Blue Demons stormed back to win the first four singles matches – two matches were then stopped after the outcome had been decided.
