Men's Tennis Returns to Action Against Utah, Denver

CHICAGO -- The DePaul men's tennis team returns to action this weekend after a nearly two-week hiatus.

The Blue Demons (1-3) head west for a pair of matches in Denver, Colo., against Utah (7-1) and No. 52 Denver (4-2). For DePaul, the two matches are its first since a Feb. 2 loss to No. 40 Columbia.

DePaul opened the year with a 6-1 trouncing of UIC before dropping its last three contests. The Blue Demons have won 10 individual dual singles matches this season, led by Paul John's 3-1 mark in No. 4 matches. Filip Dzanko (2-2) has posted a pair of singles victories in the No. 1 position.

In doubles play, DePaul has won four doubles matches, thanks to two wins by Tim Corwin and Adam Reinhart in the No. 2 slot and two by John and Joshua Schramm in the No. 3 position.

Saturday's (Feb. 15) match against Utah begins at 5 p.m.; the Blue Demons face Denver on Sunday (Feb. 16) at 11 a.m. Denver will provide live coverage during Sunday's match.
