Men's Tennis Loses to Nebraska



DES MOINES, Iowa – The No. 69 DePaul men’s tennis team lost a 5-2 neutral-court dual to No. 72 Nebraska on Saturday at the Drake Tennis Center.  The Blue Demons took the doubles point before Jack Komar earned a singles victory.

 

Austin Doerner and Jose Moncada posted an 8-6 win over James Clow and Mark Tate in the top singles match.  George Wang and Alasdair Graetz rolled past Adrian Szatmary and David Bendheim, 8-5, at No. 2 doubles.

 

Komar defeated Marton Zsiga in three sets, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3, to give the Blue Demons a victory at No. 6 singles.  With the win, Komar improved his dual season singles record to 7-1.

 

DePaul (7-4, 1-0 BIG EAST) wraps up its weekend in Des Moines with a Sunday dual against Drake.  The Blue Demons and Bulldogs face off at 10 a.m.
