Men's Tennis Stumbles at No. 55 Iowa
IOWA CITY, IA - The DePaul men's tennis fell to No 55 Iowa, 7-0 on Sunday at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex. Playing a scheduled that is jammed packed with five ranked teams in the first 13 duals of the season, the Blue Demons fall to 5-8 on the season, while Iowa improves to 6-1. Playing in the number one doubles position, Ben Hartman and Bartosz Jozwiak picked up DePaul's only win of the day. The duo defeated Marc Bruches and Nikita Zotov 8-6 and improve to 18-6 on the season while the tandem has won five of its last six matches. Iowa clinched the doubles point with wins in the second and third matches before sweeping all six singles contests. The Blue Demons head to Texas next week for matches at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. DePaul plays Texas Pan American on March 3, before playing in the HEB Team Tournament March 5-6. No. 55 Iowa 7, DePaul 0
