CHICAGO – The No. 74 DePaul men’s tennis team returns to its home courts and hosts Brown on Saturday, Mar. 10 at Lakeshore Sport and Fitness.  The first serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. on the corner of Fullerton and Lakewood.

The Blue Demons (10-7) have won three of their last six matches while they have played eight ranked teams in their first 17 duals.  DePaul took seventh place at the HEB Team Tournament in Corpus Christi, Texas after facing two ranked teams last week.

DePaul is led by Filip Dzanko and George Chanturia – the pair has both tallied 20-plus singles victories on the season.  Dzanko leads the team with his 25-6 record while Chanturia sits at 20-9.

Matija Palinic is the BIG EAST’s reigning Player of the Week after going 5-0 last week.  The Blue Demon senior posted three singles wins which ran his winning streak to five matches.  Palinic has teamed up with Adam Reinhart in doubles recently and the pair has won four straight matches.

Brown (9-3) has won three of its last four matches and plays at Northern Illinois on Friday.  The Bears were previously ranked in the Campbell’s/ITA Team rankings, but fell out this past week.

With Saturday’s match in the books, DePaul travels to Wilmington N.C. for duals with Campbell (Mar. 21) and UNC Wilmington (Mar. 23).
