Men's Tennis Has Rough Trip West
CHICAGO – The DePaul men’s tennis team headed west for Spring Break and dropped it's first two matches on a three-match swing. On March 21, DePaul dropped a 7-0 decision to Cal Poly and then fell to 41st-ranked Fresno State 7-0 the next day.
DePaul’s lone victory against Cal Poly came at No. 2 doubles where Jack Komar and Will Wang combined to post a 9-8 (9-7) win over Matt Baca and Fred Dewitte.
The Blue Demons were able to post one victory against Fresno State as well as George Wang and Danny Wilson teamed up at No. 3 doubles to beat Jakub Cech and Sa, Tadevosian.
The trip concludes on Friday with a match against Fresno Pacific.
