Men's Tennis Remains Perfect in Georgia
In doubles, the Wang brothers came back from being down 4-1 at #3 to beat the Georgia State tandem of Clarence Boyd and Matija Sulin, 9-8 (2). At the #2 slot, Robert Kotroczo and Eric Huffman came back from a break to upend the team of Albano Franco and Nicolas Lupica, 8-6. Juniors Sam Davidson and Mark Henderson sealed the deal with an 8-6 victory at #1.
“The Wangs showed heart by battling and fighting as did everyone,” said men’s tennis coach Luke Taylor, “This is the best doubles I have ever seen from this team.”
The Blue Demons kept the intense and carried it over to singles. Davidson was first off the court winning 6-3, 6-4, against Matija Sulin at #4 singles. At No. 2,
