MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Coming off a Wednesday win at Belmont, the DePaul men's tennis team gears up for the MT Shootout, held Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31 at the Buck Bouldin and Old Fort Tennis Centers.

The tournament field features teams from No. 43 Middle Tennessee, South Alabama, Troy, Georgia State, Illinois State, No. 72 Elon and Florida Atlantic.

The Blue Demons will face the host, MTSU, on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. and will then proceed to face either the winner or loser of the South Alabama/Troy match.

DePaul will be facing the 43rd-ranked Blue Raiders for the second time this month, having lost to then-No. 34 MTSU, 4-1, on March 1 at the HEB Tournament of Champions. Should the Blue Demons face South Alabama, it would also be a rematch of a March 2 meeting at the HEB Tournament.

Junior Filip Dzanko leads the way at the number one spot in the lineup for DePaul and is currently riding a four-match win streak.

He helped the Blue Demons snap an eight-match skid in their last outing against Belmont on Wednesday, March 27. The Blue Demons also received singles wins from Kyle Johnson, his first of the dual match season, and Paul John in the victory.
