CHICAGO – The DePaul men’s tennis team plays its first of two BIG EAST Conference duals this season when it travels to No. 41 Notre Dame for a 3 p.m. (CT) dual with the Irish at the Eck Tennis Pavilion on Wednesday.  Live stats are available for Wednesday’s dual.

The Blue Demons (11-12) travel to Indiana after a fourth place finish at the Sun Belt Shootout last weekend.  DePaul played two ranked teams and finished the tournament with a 1-2 record.   The Blue Demons defeated Florida Atlantic but fell No. 57 South Alabama and No. 71 Georgia State in tightly contested duals.

DePaul has combined for a 116-95 mark in singles this season. Filip Dzanko and George Chanturia have both eclipsed the 20-win mark with Dzanko leading the charge with his 27-8 record.  Dzanko boasts a 13-3 record in the top singles spot while Chanturia is 13-10 in duals this season.

Notre Dame (14-7) is the 12th ranked team the Blue Demons have faced this season and the third in three matches.  

The Irish have won their last two matches and are 10-2 in home duals this season.  Notre Dame is paced by No. 52 Greg Andrews in singles.  Andrews boasts a 27-8 record and is 8-2 in his last 10 matches.

DePaul returns to Lakeshore Sport and Fitness on April 14 when its host Marquette on Senior Day.  The first serve is scheduled for 5 p.m.
