Cariov Earns Two Conference USA Honors
CHICAGO – DePaul men’s tennis player Jevgenij Cariov earned a pair of honors from Conference USA it was announced by the league office today. Cariov, a senior from Kaunas, Lithuania, was named first team All-Conference USA and was also chosen as the Singles Player of the Championship. Both awards were chosen in a vote of league coaches. The C-USA Championship was held April 18-21. Cariov had a stellar senior season, posting a singles record of 30-9, becoming the first DePaul men’s tennis player to ever win 30 singles matches in a season.
