Cariov Falls In Second Round At NCAA Tennis Championships

ATHENS, Ga. - After becoming the first DePaul tennis player in over 30 years to qualify for the NCAA Championships, Jevgenji Cariov's run ended in the second round with a 6-3, 6-4 loss to Alex Hartman of Ole Miss.

Cariov entered the NCAA Tournament ranked 52nd in the nation and was one of the last 32 players left competing. Earlier this month, Cariov was named to the Conference USA ALl-Conference first team. He was ranked as one of the two top singles players in the league.
