ITA Honors Blue Demon Tennis, 12 Student-Athletes

SKILLMAN, N.J. -- The DePaul men's and women's tennis teams and 12 student-athletes were recognized for their academic performances by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) on Friday morning.
The ITA All-Academic Team award is open to any ITA member program that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above on a 4.00 scale.
In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status a player must be a varsity letter winner, have a GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale for the current academic year and have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters.
On the men's side, Tim Corwin, Paul John, Joshua Schramm, Adam Reinhart and Jan-Willem Feilzer received the honor, while Carolin Neumann, Patricia Fargas, Rebeca Mitrea, Kelsey Lawson, Zaina Sufi, Jarret Fisher and Jasmin Kling took home academic awards on the women's side.
DePaul was one of just three BIG EAST schools to receive the team award on the men's side, while six BIG EAST women's teams picked up the honor.
