Men's Tennis Heads to HEB Intercollegiate, Purdue Invitational

CHICAGO - The DePaul men's tennis team kicks off another busy weekend on Friday, September 21, sending a pair to Texas and the rest of the roster to Purdue.
Both tournaments will be all day, three-day affairs, lasting through Sunday, Sept. 23.
Dzanko, fresh off a singles title at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic, will be participating in the "A" bracket. Senior Mathias Hambach will play in the "B" draw, and the two will pair up together to compete in the "A" doubles bracket.
Dzanko and Hambach will be part of a large 14-team field, which will include players from Baylor, Idaho, Laredo Community College, Louisiana Lafayette, Midwestern State, Rice, Southern Mississippi, Tennessee, Tulsa, UT-Arlington, UT-San Antonio, UT-Pan American and Virginia Tech. There will one 64-player singles draw and one 32-team doubles bracket.
At the Purdue Invitational, DePaul will be joined by teams from Iowa, Arkansas, Western Michigan, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Butler, IPFW, IUPUI, Cleveland State, Toledo, Valparaiso, Marquette, and Xavier. There will be three flights of singles draws (A,B,C) and two flights of doubles (A,B). The Invitational will be played on all indoor and outdoor Schwartz Tennis Center courts.
