Eric Huffman and George Wang Lead Men's Tennis in Louisville
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – George Wang and Eric Huffman reached the finals of the A Flight to pace the DePaul men’s tennis team at the Louisville Invitational over the weekend.
Wang and Huffman went 4-1 on the weekend with the only loss coming in the A Flight Doubles Final where they were defeated by a team from Southern Indiana 9-7 in a very tight match. Highlighting their run to the finals was an upset of the top seeds from Kentucky in the quarterfinals.
Wang also went 3-2 in Singles Flight A action. Bouncing back from a first round loss to win three backdraw matches.
Huffman made it to the round of 16 in Flight B Singles and finished 1-1 for the weekend.
Will Wang and Jack Komar also made it to the Quarterfinals in Flight B Doubles action.
