Davidson Advances at Regional Championships
ANN ARBOR, Mich. – DePaul’s Sam Davidson on his opening round match at the 2004 Wilson/ITA Midwest Regional Championships on Thursday at the Varsity Tennis Center.
Davidson stopped Klint Knable of Ball State 6-2, 6-1 to advance to the round of 32 against Chris Lock of Toledo. That match will be played on Friday.
DePaul also had two players fall on Thursday. Robert Kotroczo fell to Mark Tate of Northern Illinois 6-2, 6-2 while George Wang dropped a 6-3, 6-1 decision to Ben Durham-Freer of Valparaiso.
