Davidson Wins At Regional Qualifier
MADISON, Wis. – Sophomore Sam Davidson won a singles and doubles match over the weekend at the annual Omni Hotels Midwest Regional Qualifier held at the Nielsen Tennis Stadium. Davidson won his opening round singles match over Eric Robertson of Minnesota 7-6 (10-8), 6-3 before falling to Chris Shaya of Minnesota 6-1, 6-4. Davidson then teamed with classmate Robert Kotroczo to top the tandem of Thinnes and Simpson from Xavier 9-7. They dropped their second round match to a team from Northern Illinois 8-2.
