VILLANOVA, Pa. – DePaul head women’s basketball coach Doug Bruno announced on Wednesday  that sophomore guard Megan Rogowski will miss 4-6 weeks with a broken right hand.  Rogowski injured her hand in DePaul’s 86-80 win over Louisville on Saturday.

Rogowski, who had appeared in all 15 games this season, is a key reserve and has been one of Bruno’s first options off the bench.  The Prospect Heights, Ill. native was averaging 21.3 minutes and 7.8 points per game before her hand injury.  A proficient shooter from behind the arc Rogowski ranks 14th in the BIG EAST Conference in 3-pointers per game (1.5), while the sophomore has 22 triples on the season.

DePaul (12-3, 1-0 BIG EAST) announced on Jan. 3 that freshmen Brooke Schulte and Brandi Harvey-Carr will miss the remainder of the 2012-13 season.  The Blue Demons are also without Kelsey Reynolds, who has been sidelined with a broken foot since Dec. 8 and Alexa Gallagher, who is rehabbing a knee injury and has yet to appear in a game this season.

The Blue Demons play at Villanova at 7 p.m. (ET) tonight.  DePaul returns to Lincoln Park on Jan. 12 when it hosts USF at 7 p.m. at McGrath-Phillips Arena.
