CHICAGO – Mart'e Grays and the Blue Demons are on quite a roll in the BIG EAST.

After scoring in double figures for the seventh game in a row and leading DePaul to a 3-0 week, Grays was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the second consecutive week.

The 6-foot, 2-inch junior from Martin Luther King, Jr. High School in Detroit averaged 16.3 points and nearly five rebounds last week while shooting 46 percent from the field.

She scored 20 points in leading the Blue Demons to an 87-65 triumph over Butler on Sunday and had 18 points in a 79-48 victory over Xavier on Friday.

Grays has scored in double digits all seven league games and is averaging nearly 17 points a game in BIG EAST action while shooting 44 percent from three-point range.

She has ignited a DePaul attack that has won its last four games by an average of 26 points. The Blue Demons have connected 51 times for deep in that span averaging nearly 13 three-pointers per game.

They will look to keep the momentum going on Friday for a pivotal road game at BIG EAST contender Villanova.
