Saturday's game is part of DePaul University's Homecoming Weekend and will feature DePaul's Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2013 which include Rita Hale from women's basketball at halftime.  Hale was part of four NCAA Tournament trips for the Blue Demons in the early 90s and is ranks 17th in scoring with 1,217 career points.  Stanley Brundy and Terence Greene from men's basketball along with softball star Cheryl O'Dekirk Katalinic, champion track hurdler Otis Dunson, the 1978 women's volleyball team and the Dr. Robert Hamilton Special Service Award honoree Vic Cacciatore will also be honored at halftime as part of the Class of 2013.

Prior to Saturday's game the Blue Demons will honor Katherine Harry, who recorded her 1,000 career point and rebound in DePaul's loss at Syracuse on Jan. 15.

On the season, Harry is leading the BIG EAST with 11.2 rebounds per game which is 2.1 more rebounds per game than any other player in the league.  Harry is just the fifth women's basketball player to record 1,000 rebounds and needs eight rebounds to move into fourth place on DePaul's all-time rebounding list.

Offensively, the Blue Demons (13-5, 2-2 BIG EAST) are led by Anna Martin's 17.0 points per game.  The senior guard ranks fourth in the BIG EAST in scoring.  Brittany Hrynko (14.9) and Jasmine Penny (14.6) also rank in the top 15 in the conference in scoring, while DePaul is the only school, to have three players rank in the top 15 in scoring.

Providence (5-11, 0-3 BIG EAST) has lost its last three games and is looking for its first road victory of the season.  The Friars are paced by Symone Roberts' 14.9 points and 3.8 steals per game.

Following Saturday's game, the Blue Demons head to Cincinnati on Tuesday for a 6 p.m. road contest.
