CHICAGO - DePaul junior guard Megan Rogowski was named to the BIG EAST Conference Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll it was announced on Monday by the league office.  Rogowski led DePaul in scoring in both the team's wins last week.

DePaul (15-5, 6-2 BIG EAST) registered a pair of road wins last week which brought its BIG EAST winning streak to four games.  The Blue Demons defeated Georgetown, 92-69 on Jan. 22 and Butler 85-64 on Jan. 25.  

At Georgetown, Rogowski joined Brittany Hrynko with a team-best 15 points.  The junior from Prospect Heights, Ill. native, was 6-of-11 from the field while she drained three triples in the win.

At Butler, she paced DePaul with 16 points while knocking down 6-of-10 from the field.  Rogowski played just 18 minutes in the victory, while she started the game by hitting her first three shots in the opening five minutes of action in Indianapolis.

For the week, she was an impressive 6-of-13 (.462) from behind the arc. Her three 3-pointers at Butler moved her into 12th all-time at DePaul with 147 career 3-pointers.

Rogowski leads the BIG EAST with 3.0 triples per game while her .416 (57-of-137) field goal percentage from behind the arc is also tops in the league.

This is Rogowski's third career Honor Roll accolade and second of the season.  She was also named to the Weekly Honor Roll on Dec. 16, 2013 and Dec. 3, 2012.

Creighton's Marissa Janning was named the Player of the Week and Providence's Sarah Beal was named the Freshman of the Week. Alexis Harris (Providence), Ka-Deidre Simmons (Seton Hall), Amber Thompson (St. John's) and Andrea White (Georgetown) joined Rogowski on the Honor Roll.

The Blue Demons return to Lincoln Park and host rival Marquette on Jan. 29 at 7 p.m.  Wednesday's game has been tabbed as "Pack the House Night" and has also been designated as National Girls and Women in Sports Day.  All of DePaul's female student-athletes as well as members of the Spirit Squad will be honored during the game.
