CHICAGO - The DePaul women's basketball team returns to Lincoln Park and puts its 12-game McGrath-Phillips Arena winning streak on the line when Rutgers comes to town for a Feb. 12 visit.  Tuesday's Play4Kay showdown tips at 8 p.m. on CBS College Sports with Brent Stover and Debbie Antonelli calling the action courtside.

The BIG EAST Conference clash will also be carried on DePaul's BlueTube with Dave Bernhard and Patricia Babcock McGraw providing the audio. Gametracker is also available while in-game scoring and notes can be followed at www.twitter.com/DePaulWBBSID.

Tuesday's game is the ninth meeting between the two programs with Rutgers leading the all-time series 5-3.  All three of the Blue Demons' wins have come at McGrath-Phillips Arena.  In the highly-contested series, the last four games have been decided by four points or less, including last seasons' 65-64 Rutgers win in Piscataway.

DePaul (17-7, 6-4 BIG EAST) is looking to rebound from is 91-44 setback at Connecticut on Feb. 10.

On the season, the Blue Demons are paced by Anna Martin's 16.2 points, while Brittany Hrynko (15.6) and Jasmine Penny (14.2) are also averaging double-digits.  Hrynko has led the Blue Demons in scoring in four of the last six games, including four straight.  Penny paced DePaul against Seton Hall with a career-high 29 points and Megan Rogowski scored 12 points against the Huskies.

Hit with the injury bug again this season -- DePaul has been without the services of Martin, who has missed the last five games with a knee injury.  Rogowski returned to the rotation at Connecticut after missing eight games with a broken hand.

Rutgers Hall of Fame coach C. Vivian Stringer is in her 18th season with the Scarlet Knights (14-8, 5-4 BIG EAST) and is looking to become the fourth women's basketball coach to reach the 900 career victory mark.  Stringer comes to Lincoln Park with an 899-326 record in her 42 seasons as a head coach.

Stringer is the second coach looking for a milestone victory at McGrath-Phillips Arena. Stanford's Tara VanDerveer went for her 800th victory on Dec. 16, 2010 -- but VanDerveer would have to wait as the Blue Demons triumphed 91-71 over the No. 2/3 Cardinal.

Stringer did record her 800th career victory against the Blue Demons on Feb. 27, 2008.  The Scarlet Knights defeated the Blue Demons 60-46 in Piscataway.

Tickets are still available for all women's basketball games by calling the DePaul ticket office at (773) 325-SLAM or by stopping by the DePaul Ticket Office which is located inside the Sullivan Athletic Center (2323 Sheffield Avenue).
