The Blue Demons (22-7, 14-3) and Marquette (20-8, 14-3) are tied for the top spot with the Golden Eagles at St. John’s on Sunday.

Coach Doug Bruno is hoping his well-balanced attack with five players averaging in double figures is operating at peak efficiency spreading the floor, sharing the ball, pushing the pace and knocking down shots.

His team has finished in double figures from three-point range an impressive 21 times in 29 games this season. The most accurate from beyond the arc have been Ashton Millender (.414 shooting percentage), Chante Stonewall (.413),  Mart'e Grays (.377) and Kelly Campbell (.377).

Millender was selected to the BIG EAST Honor Roll on Monday after averaging 19 points and shooting a sizzling .571 from deep last week. The 5-10 Campbell has been on a rebounding binge with 191 in her last 18 games. She leads the team in that category along with assists, steals and free throw percentage.

The Blue Demons lead the country in three-pointers per game and are second three-point field goals and attempts. They are No. 4 in the nation in assists, No. 5 in assists per game, No. 6 in assist-turnover ratio and No. 9 in scoring offense.

Campbell is No. 3 in NCAA Division I in assist-turnover ratio, No. 15 in assists and No. 22 in assists per game. Millender is No. 25 in three-pointers.

Grays is the leading scorer at 14.6 points per game followed by Millender (13.4), Amarah Coleman (12.3), Campbell (10.7) and Chante Stonewall (10.4).

Seton Hall (15-13, 7-10) is coming off an 81-54 loss at home against Marquette on Friday night. JaQuan Jackson had 13 points and Nicole Jimenez added 12.

Jackson leads the team averaging 11.8 points per game and Taylor Brown is scoring nearly 10 points a game. The Pirates have lost four in a row after having won five of six.
