UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The No. 3-seeded DePaul women's basketball team met with the media practiced at the Jordan Bryce Center in preparations for tomorrow's NCAA First Round game with 14th-seeded Navy.  The Blue Demons and Navy tip at 1:30 p.m. (ET) on Saturday; while the game can be seen live, on ESPN2 and ESPN3.com.

DePaul and Navy meet for the first time in either program's history on Saturday.  The Blue Demons (27-6) received an at-large bid and is one of nine BIG EAST Conference teams in the field of 64.   Navy (20-11) won the Patriot League Tournament and has won its last five games.

The Blue Demons are making the program's 16th appearance in the NCAA Tournament including the last nine.  DePaul is one of just 12 programs to reach the NCAA Tournament every season since 2003. Connecticut, Duke, Georgia, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Rutgers, Stanford, Tennessee and Vanderbilt are the other 11 teams to participate in the last nine NCAA Tournaments.

The winner of Saturday's game faces the winner of the No. 6 Penn State/No. 11 Dayton game on Monday at 7 p.m.  Monday's game can also be seen on ESPN2 and on the internet on ESPN3.com.

Brenda  VanLengen and Justin Kutcher  will handle the announcing duties for all the games at the Bryce Jordan Center.

• Noting the Blue Demons (27-6, 13-3 BIG EAST):  DePaul is 680-392 (.634) all-time... the 2010-11 campaign is the 37th season of women's basketball at DePaul University... DePaul's 27-6 record is the program's best record through 33 games... its 27 wins ties a DePaul record - DePaul also recorded 27 wins 1987-88 and 2005-06...  recorded 20 or more wins in the last four seasons and in eight of the last nine... since the start of the 2003-04 season (259 games), the Blue Demons have held 64.9  percent of their opponents to less than 70 points (168-of-259)... in that span, DePaul is 143-25 (.851) when holding opponents to less than 70 points... in that same time span, DePaul has scored 70 or more points in 172 games... DePaul is 150-22 (.872) when scoring 70 plus points... this season DePaul is 20-0 when it scores 70 or more points... in the last six seasons (228 games), the Blue Demons are 163-65 (.715)... in the last 68 home games against conference opponents, DePaul has posted 57 victories... over the last nine-plus seasons (351 games), DePaul has scored at least 80 points in 116 games... the Blue Demons hold a 111-5 (.957) record in those games... in the same span, DePaul is 47-1, including 45 straight wins, when scoring at least 90 points.

• Marching Along:  DePaul is making its ninth consecutive and the program's 16th NCAA Championship appearance in 2010... the Blue Demons were one of nine BIG EAST programs in the field of 64 in 2011... DePaul is 7-15 (.318) all-time in NCAA Championship play...DePaul is one of 12 teams to appear in each of the last nine tournaments... joining the Blue Demons on the list of 12 teams with nine-straight NCAA's are Connecticut, Duke, Georgia, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Rutgers, Stanford, Tennessee and Vanderbilt... the ninth-straight appearances are a program record for consecutive NCAA's... DePaul earned four consecutive NCAA berths from 1990-93 followed by a three-year run from 1995-97... the program is 4-9 entering in its last eight tournament appearances, including a 2006 NCAA Regional Semifinal appearance in San Antonio, Texas.

• First Round Action: DePaul earned the No. 3 Seed and will face Navy in the first round at Penn State's Bryce Jordan Center... a three seed is the highest seed DePaul has received, previous high was a No. 4 seed in 2006... the winner of Saturday's game will play either No. 6 Penn State or No. 11 Dayton on Monday at 7 p.m. (ET)

• Scouting Navy (20-11): making its first NCAA Championship appearance after winning the Patriot League tournament...  enters the NCAA field on a five-game winning streak... averages 58.1 point per game... Angela Myers paces the team with 12.1 points and Cassie Consedine follows with 11.4 and adds 6.4 rebounds per game... Jade Geif grabs a team-best 7.8 boards per game

• The Series: First ever series meeting between the two programs... DePaul is 4-0 against teams from the Patriot League... has two wins over each Army and Holy Cross.

• It Could Happen: Coach Doug Bruno could win his 526th career coaching victory and 486th at the collegiate level... Quigley could start her 103rd consecutive game while Keisha Hampton could start her 100th... DePaul could play its 34th which ties a school record for games in a season... 2005-06 team also played 34 games...  a win set the school record for wins in a single season...  DePaul's 27 wins currently ties for the most with  the 1987-88 and in 2005-06 teams.

• BIG EAST Championship Recap: DePaul reached the semifinals of the BIG EAST Championship for the first time since the 2006 season... received a double-bye for the first time since the conference went to a 16-team format in 2008-09... the team's No. 2 seed was the a program high... previous best was a three seed which the 2006 team secured... DePaul opened the tournament with a 66-54 win over St. John's in the quarterfinals and lost to Notre Dame in the semifinals 71-67... Keisha Hampton became the first DePaul student-athlete to earn All-Tournament honor after averaging 20.5 points for the tournament... the junior scored a career-high 31 in DePaul's semifinals loss... DePaul is now 6-6 in BIG EAST Championship games and 26-19 all-time in Conference Tournament games.

• All-Conference Performers: Keisha Hampton, Sam Quigley and Felicia Chester were all named All-BIG EAST Conference Performers... Taylor Pikes became the second DePaul player to be named the BIG EAST Sixth Man of the Year, she follows China Threatt who earned the award in 2008... Hampton was one of four unanimous first team selections; she is the third DePaul player to be named to the first team since DePaul joined the conference... Quigley earned the league's Sportsmanship Award and was a second-team All BIG EAST performer... shared the award with Cincinnati senior Shelly Bellman... Jenna Rubino took home the award in 2007... Chester was an honorable mention All-BIG EAST honoree

• Breaking Down the BIG EAST Regular Season: Tying for second place is the highest finish for DePaul since joining the BIG EAST in 2005-06... the 2005-06 team finished in a tie for third... started regular season 9-0 including three road wins...all three of its losses were on the road while two of those were to ranked teams - No. 2/2 Connecticut and No. 24/22 Marquette... average margin of victory was 10.6 points... outscored its opponent 547-426 in the first half... Keisha Hampton (14.9), Felicia Chester (11.2), Anna Martin (10.3) all average double-figures in league games... the trio combined for 53% of DePaul's offense..  Chester (6.6) and Taylor Pikes (6.4) led DePaul in rebounding... the pair accounted for 37% of DePaul's rebounds... recorded 157 steals, while five different players had 20 or more steals... Sam Quigley averaged 4.8 assists per game (62 assists)... Anna Martin tallied 45 and Keisha Hampton added 42 assists in 16 games... DePaul had 275 assists compared to its opponents 188... Katherine Harry had 27 blocks and Hampton swatted 14 for a total of 41 blocks -- opponents totaled 36 blocks.

• BIG EAST Regular Season Numbers: The BIG EAST ranks its schools in 21 different offensive and defensive categories... in conference games this season DePaul ranked in the top 5 in 14 of those categories... DePaul ranked second in 3-point field goal defense (.280), assists (17.2), turnover margin (+3.9) and 3-point field goals per game (7.2).

• Home & Away: Heading into the NCAA Championship, the Blue Demons have played two games on a neutral floor -- both at the BIG EAST Championship... DePaul is 1-1 in neutral site games... prior to the BIG EAST Championship the last neutral-site game DePaul played was against Vanderbilt in the opening round of the NCAA Championship in 2010... this season, DePaul is 17-0 at McGrath-Phillips Arena and is 9-5 in road games... DePaul is 5-0 in games against top 25 opponents at McGrath Phillips Arena... all five of its losses came on the road.

• Against Ranked Opponents: DePaul went 6-3 against ranked opponents this season... 3-2 against opponents ranked in the top 10 at the time of competition... perfect 5-0 against the top 25 at McGrath-Phillips Arena... 1-2 in road games... in games won, DePaul's average margin of victory was 15.3 points... largest margin of victory was 25 points -- a 82-57 win over #18/18 Georgetown... Keisha Hampton averaged 16.7 points and Felicia Chester grabbed 7.9 rebounds to lead DePaul against ranked opponents... Hampton scored a career-high 31 points in DePaul's semifinals loss to #10/8 Notre Dame... Hampton reached double-figures in seven games Chester grabbed double-digit rebounds in three games -- at St. John's and Marquette and against Notre Dame (Mar. 7). 

• Looking at the RPI: DePaul's current RPI in both the NCAA and CollegeRPI is the third highest in the BIG EAST... DePaul is ranked 11th in both the NCAA and CollegeRPI... Connecticut ranks No. 1 and Notre Dame is 10 in both polls... in RealTimeRPI.com, DePaul is ranked No. 8, while Notre Dame is No. 1... Connecticut ranks No. 1 RealTimeRPI.com

• Averaging 18+ :  Thru 33 games, DePaul is averaging 18.2  assists per game which ties for the fourth most in a single season... the 1994-95 team averaged 20.2 assists for the best average and the 2004-05 team is second with 19.2 and the 2005-06 team averaged 18.5... DePaul has recorded 20 or more assists in 15 games this season... season-best 28 assists at UIC and against UC Riverside... the Blue Demons have dished out an assist on 600 of its 917 baskets (65.4 percent)... DePaul's 600 assists is the second most in school history... the 2005-06 team holds the school record with 629.

• Assisting the Nation:  As of March 13, DePaul ranks sixth in the nation and is second in the BIG EAST with 18.2 assists per game... Gonzaga (656 assists) leads the country with 20.5, Green Bay (669)  with 20.3, Connecticut (643) follows and leads the BIG EAST with 19.5 assists per game, BYU is fourth with (586) 19.3 and Appalachian State is fifth with (573) 18.5... DePaul averages 18.2 for sixth and has dished out 600 assists.

• Protecting the Ball with the Pass:  Thru games played March 13, DePaul's 1.19 assist (600)/turnover (506) ratio ranks 10th in the nation and second in the BIG EAST behind Connecticut's assist (643)/turnover (506) ratio -- 1.27... in BIG EAST games, DePaul boasted a conference best 1.3 assist-to-turnover ratio... DePaul has committed less than 10 turnovers in two games this season... season-low six at Villanova and nine against Northwestern. 

• Taking Advantage from Beyond the Arc:  Since the start of the 2005-06 season (196 games), the club has knocked down 1322 (6.7 per game) trifectas compared to just 971 (5.0 per game) for the opposition... DePaul is averaging 7.1, 3-pointers per game this season which ranks No. 27 in the nation and second in the BIG EAST... DePaul had a season and BIG EAST Conference-best 13, 3-pointers at Syracuse... with three 3-pointers against San Diego State at the 2009 NCAA Championship in San Diego, the team clinched the 10th-straight year with at least 200 three-pointers... a 0-for-8 showing against Houston on Feb. 11, 2005, ended DePaul's streak with a three-pointer at 259 games... at the time, it was the nation's seventh-longest active streak... more recently in 2010, the Blue Demons 0-14 showing at Northern Illinois in 2009 ended a 144-game streak with a 3-pointer, while they were also 0-11 against Arkansas five games later... including the Houston, Northern Illinois and Arkansas games, the Blue Demons have tallied a three-pointer in 462 of the last 465 games... DePaul has made 200 or more 3-pointers in 11 of its last 12 seasons... the 2009-10 team tallied 163 to end DePaul's streak at 10 seasons... through 33 games, DePaul has 235 3-pointers this season which is the third most in school history... the school record is 252, 3-pointers which the 2007-08 season recorded... DePaul has had at least one 3-pointer in its last 56 games.

• 70 is the Magic Number: DePaul has scored 70 or more points in 20 of its 27 wins this season... DePaul is 20-0 this season when scoring 70 or more points... DePaul has scored 64 or more points in all 27 of its wins this season.

• High-Scoring offense: DePaul is averaging 74.4 points per game which third in the BIG EAST and 24th in the nation... DePaul has scored 2,456 points this season which ranks as the ninth most points in the program's 37 year history... outscoring its opponent 1236-923 in the first half... scored 40 or more points in the first half 12 times this season... season-high 56 first half points against Illinois State on 12/1/10... also scored  a season-best 100 points against the Redbirds... 34th time DePaul has scored 100 or more points.

• Millennials: Three players - Felicia Chester, Keisha Hampton and Sam Quigley have all reached the 1,000 career point mark this season... most recently Chester became DePaul's 26th 1,000 point scorer at Connecticut on Feb. 5...  Chester has 1,090 career points... Hampton and Quigley both reached the 1,000 point mark during the week of Dec. 6... Quigley scored her 1,000th point during a 17-point night at Pittsburgh on Dec. 7...the senior point guard has 1,251 career points... Hampton reached the 1,000 mark by hitting the front end of a one-and-one against Northern Illinois on Dec. 11... Hampton has scored 1,329 points in 98 career games (13.4 ppg)... the junior has reached double figures in 70 of her 99 games (70.7 percent).

• Lieberman Finalist:  Sam Quigley was named a Nancy Lieberman Finalist... Quigley is the second DePaul player to be a finalist and the first to be a finalist twice... also finalist for the Award in 2010... the senior point guard ranks eighth in the BIG EAST with 4.1 assists per game and has dished out five or more assists in 15 games this season and 48 in her career... boasts a 1.5 assist to turnover ratio which ranks 10th in the BIG EAST.

•From the Field: DePaul has been proficient from the field this season and boasts a .452 (917-for-2028) team average... team's FG% ranks seventh in DePaul's single-season history book... DePaul has shot better than 50% in nine games this season...season-best .596 (31-for-52) FG% against No. 3/2 Stanforsd... on the season is 25-2 when shooting better than 40% this season... is 20-0 when its FG% is better than its opponent.

• Climbing in the Associated Press Poll:  DePaul reached a program-best No. 7 in Associated Press Poll released on Feb. 21... DePaul's previous best was a No. 9 ranking which it received on Jan. 31, 2011 -- prior to that DePaul ranked No. 10 in the Jan. 16, 2006 poll... the Blue Demons have received votes in every poll this season and entered the Poll on Dec. 6... this week -- Mar. 14, DePaul is No. 10

• Making Moves in the USA Today/ESPN Poll:  After receiving votes all season in the USA Today/ESPN Poll the Blue Demons entered the poll at No. 25 on Dec. 14... DePaul is currently ranked No. 12 in the coaches poll and is one of six BIG EAST teams in the poll.

• BIG EAST Scoring Drive:  Keisha Hampton's 16.0 points per game leads DePaul and ranks fourth in the BIG EAST... scoring average ranks 97th in the nation... reached double-figures in 28 of DePaul's 33 games... scored 20 or more points in nine games and had a career-best 31 against No. 8/10 Notre Dame in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Championship... led DePaul in scoring in 15 games this season... .756 (121-for-160) from the free throw line is the 12th-best free throw percentage in the league... .357 (56-for-157) 3-point field goal percentage ranks 13th in the league... 1.7, 3-pointers per game ranks 14th... registered three or more 3-pointers in eight games this season... season-best five against Rutgers on Feb. 15.

• Chester, Pikes & Harry:  DePaul's three forwards -- Felicia Chester, Taylor Pikes and Katherine Harry all rank in the BIG EAST in field goals and rebounds... DePaul is the only program in the BIG EAST to have three players ranked in the top 20 in rebounding... DePaul and Notre Dame both have three players ranked in the top 15 in field goal percentage... Chester leads the trio in both categories with a .567 (152-for-268) field goal percentage which ranks third and averages 6.5 rebounds per game for 14th... Pikes ranks fifth with a .559 (104-for-186) field goal percentage and ranks 17th with 6.3 rebounds per game... Harry ranks 15th in the BIG EAST with her .505 (99-for-196) field goal percentage and is 18th with 6.2 rebounds per game.

• Wade Watch and Naismith Top 30:  On Feb. 7 Keisha Hampton was one of seven athletes added to the Wade Watch List... Hampton is one of 32 student-athletes on the Midseason List... on Feb. 14 Hampton was named to the Naismith Trophy Midseason Top 30 list. 

• BIG EAST Player of the Week: Keisha Hampton was named the BIG EAST Player of the Week on Dec. 20... becomes the first DePaul player since the 2007-08 season to earn the weekly honor... a Blue Demon has been named Player of the Week seven times since DePaul joined the conference in 2005-06... Allie Quigley earned the honor three time, Khara Smith twice and Deirdre Naughton once... Hampton was named the league's Player of the Week after scoring 27 points in DePaul's win over No. 3/2 Stanford... Hampton also dished out a career-high six assists in DePaul's win over Northwestern. 

• Sam's Seven Threes:  Sam Quigley drained a career-best seven 3-pointers at Cincinnati on Jan. 25... seven 3-pointers is the third most by any DePaul player in school history... seven 3-pointers is the most by a BIG EAST player in league games this season... Lenae Williams holds the DePaul record with eight which she did twice during her career... Quigley has 61 3-pointers this season... needs two more to climb into DePaul single-season record book... Anne McDonald (1997-98) ranks 11th with 63, Kim Williams (1996-97) ranks 10th with 65 and Melanne Ehrhardt (1989-90) recorded 66.

• Home Cookin':  Through 11 seasons, McGrath-Phillips Arena - formerly known as the DePaul Athletic Center - has proven itself as one of the toughest venues in the nation. The Blue Demons have posted a 135-21 (.865) record in the arena's 156 games. DePaul's .848 winning percentage entering the 2009-10 season ranked ninth among all active arenas and 11th all-time. There have been three perfect seasons at McGrath-Phillips Arena-- DePaul went 13-0 in 2002-03,  14-0 in 2004-05 and 17-0 in 2010-11.

In its 37th season of women's basketball at DePaul University, the Blue Demons have an all-time home court record of 399-105 (.792). Over 26 seasons at Alumni Hall, the women's basketball program won over 75 percent of its games with a 242-80 all-time record.  At the Allstate Arena, the women's program has posted an all-time record of 22-4.

There have been 16 streaks of at least 10 straight home victories. The longest streak was a 33-game run that started on Dec. 19, 2003 with a 99-63 win over Alabama State and ended on Jan. 28, 2006 with an 84-75 defeat to #5/4 Connecticut. The Blue Demons' 11-game winning streak dating back to the 2006-07 season ended on Jan. 2, 2008 with the 102-68 loss to #3/3 Tennessee.

DePaul finished the 2010-11 season on a 19-game streak which dated back to a 68-57 win over Pittsburgh on Feb. 23, 2010.  The Blue Demons went 17-0 and topped five ranked teams in Lincoln Park -- #3/2 Stanford, 91-71 on Dec. 16, #8/8 West Virginia 78-55 on Jan. 30, # 21/22 Marquette 64-56 on Feb.12, #18/18 Georgetown 82-57 on Feb. 20 and #7/7 Notre Dame 70-69, on Feb. 28 . During DePaul's current 19-game winning streak the Blue Demons have an average margin of victory of 19.1 points per game.

Over the last nine years at McGrath-Phillips Arena, the team is 114-14 at home with five losses to teams ranked in the top five. DePaul lost in overtime to #2/2 Tennessee on Dec. 17, 2003, before the Connecticut loss in Jan. 2006. Tennessee, ranked third in both polls, served DePaul its fifth defeat before the 77-76 loss to #1/1 Connecticut on Mar. 1, 2008.

The Blue Demons have also posted 106 victories in the last 109 games over unranked opponents. West Virginia ended DePaul's 58-game streak over unranked opponents with a 74-63 decision on Jan. 9, 2007 before Pittsburgh and Louisville handed the Blue Demons defeats in 2007-08. During the 58-game streak, there were 54 victories at McGrath-Phillips Arena and four wins at the Allstate Arena.

• Ranked Teams at McGrath-Phillips Arena:  DePaul is 11-12 (.478) all-time against Top 25 opponents at McGrath Arena since the 2000-01 season... this season DePaul is 5-0 with wins over then-No. 3/2 Stanford, 91-71 on Dec. 16, No. 8/8 West Virginia, 78-55 on Jan. 30, No. 21/22 Marquette 64-56 on Feb. 12, No. 18/18 Georgetown 82-57 on Feb. 20 and No. 7/7 Notre Dame 70-69 on Feb. 28... in games that DePaul has won over a ranked opponent, the Blue Demons average margin of victory was 13.5 points... DePaul has lost just 21 games since McGrath-Phillips Arena opened in 2000-01... of those 12 have come to ranked teams... five of those 12 losses were decided by three or less points... DePaul's game with Tennessee in 2003 went to overtime with the Blue Demons falling 96-89... narrowly fell to No. 1/1 Connecticut 81-80 during the 2007-08 season.

• BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll Times Five: Keisha Hampton was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Nov. 22, again on Dec. 3 and most recently on Jan. 17... following DePaul's first four games Hampton led the Blue Demons with 17.8 points per game and a .895 (17-for-19) effort from the free throw line... Hampton's free throw with six seconds left against Florida sealed DePaul's victory... she was also named to the Preseason WNIT All-Tournament team... the second time Hampton was named to the honor roll she averaged 22.0 points per game and scored career-best 31 against Illinois State... her third honor roll accolade came after averaging 19.0 points and 7.0 rebounds and a 1.2 assist-to-turnover ratio... fourth honor roll selection came on Feb. 21 after averaging 17.0 points and 5.0 rebounds the week before, she had a career-best seven assists vs. Rutgers... averaged 18.0 points, dished out nine assists and eight steals.

• BIG EAST Weekly Honor - Quigley Times Two: Named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Dec. 13 and then again on Jan. 30... her first honor came after becoming DePaul's 24th 1,000 point scorer at Pittsburgh and dished out a season-best seven assists...against Pitt and Northern Illinois she finished the week with an 11-for-13 effort at the Charity stripe... Quigley earned her second weekly honor after leading DePaul with 14.0 points in DePaul's wins at Cincinnati and against #8/8 West Virginia... made a career-best seven 3-pointers in win at Cincinnati.

• BIG EAST Weekly Honor - Martin: Anna Martin became the third Blue Demon to be mentioned on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Feb. 14... the sophomore averaged 15.5 points per game in 32 minutes per game... 11-for-23 (.478) from the field which included a 4-of-8 (.500) from 3-point range... reached the 20-point mark for the third time this season and fifth of her career against Marquette... tied a career-high with seven assists at Syracuse.

• Streaking: Dating back to last season and in some cases, the last couple of seasons, the Blue Demons have put together various streaks. Listed below are some current active streaks:
    • 63-straight victories over unranked non-conference opponents at home
    • 56-games with at least one 3-pointer
    • 19-game winning streak at McGrath-Phillips Arena --- dates back to Feb. 23, 2010
    • Nine-consecutive wins over programs from the State of Illinois
    • Nine-consecutive NCAA Championship appearances

• Raining 3s:  Deirdre Naughton and Sam Quigley enter the 2010-11 season ranked in DePaul's top 13 for 3-point field goals and 3-point field goal attempts... Quigley currently has 183 3-pointers on 528 attempts... Quigley's 183 threes ranks fourth and needs one more to tie Kris Booker (1993-87) to tie for third... Quigley's attempts ranks fourth... Naughton has 141, 3-pointers on 417 attempts in a Blue Demon uniform which ranks 12th in total 3-point field goals and ninth in attempts... Lenae Williams holds DePaul's record with 303 3-point field goals on 924 attempts.

• On Target:  Felicia Chester's career field goal percentage of .551 (440-for-798) ranks fifth in DePaul's record book... her .567 (152-for-268) FG percentage this season ranks 10th in DePaul's single-season record book and third in the BIG EAST.

• Harry's Block Party: Sophomore Katherine Harry ranks fifth in the BIG EAST with 1.7 blocks per game... Harry recorded at least one block in 14 of  DePaul's 16 league games this season... had at least one block in 26 of her 32 career conference games... her 57 blocks this season ranks sixth... Cathy Pezdirtz holds DePaul's single-season record with 118 blocks... Harry's 93 career blocks ranks seventh... needs three blocks to tie Khara Smith (2001-06) for sixth... Pezdirtz holds the career record with 255 blocks.

• Lots and Lots of Games:  Felicia Chester and Sam Quigley are both fifth-year seniors... Chester played her 132nd career game against Notre Dame in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Championship... now holds the school record for games played... Quigley has appeared in 131 which ranks second... assistant director of basketball operations Khara Smith (2001-06) was the previous record holder with 131 games.

• Dishing it Out:  Sam Quigley currently has 476 career assists (3.7 assists per game) which ranks second in school history...  Veronica Ross (1986-90) holds the school record 672... Quigley has recorded five or more assists in 15 games this season and in 48 career games... career-best 11 against Pittsburgh on Feb. 23, 2010... boasts a career 1.42 assist-to-turnover ratio. 

• Coach Doug Bruno Court:  Beginning in the 2010-11 season, the Blue Demons will play their home games at McGrath Arena on the Coach Doug Bruno Court... DePaul's Director of Athletics, Jean Lenti Ponsetto made the announcement on Nov. 16, 2009 and the court was formally dedicated on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010... the 2010-11 season marks Coach Bruno's 25th season at DePaul... Bruno currently has 485 collegiate wins and 40 wins as the head coach of the Chicago Hustle (WBL - Professional Team in Chicago)... Coach Bruno becomes just the fifth NCAA women's coach and just the third DI coach to have a court named in his honor... Bruno follows, Kay Yow from North Carolina State and Pat Summitt who has the court at Tennessee and Tennessee Martin named in her honor... Lin L. Laursen has "Larsen Court" at Central Arizona College (NJCAA) while there is the Pam Evans Smith Arena at Wittenberg University

• Coaching on the same side, coaching separately:  DePaul head coach Doug Bruno and Connecticut head coach Geno Auriemma teamed up this summer to help the USA National Team win Gold at the FIBA World Championship in the Czech Republic on Oct. 3, 2010...  Auriemma served as the team's head coach while Bruno was an assistant along with Jennifer Gillom of the WNBA Minnesota Lynx and Marynell Meadors of the Atlanta Dream.

• Vote Daily, Quigley has CLASS: On Jan. 26, 2011, Sam Quigley was named one of 10 Finalists for the prestigious Lowe's Senior CLASS award... awarded to the all-around athlete, the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award honors the student-athlete who excels not only on the floor but also in the community, classroom and character... fans can vote daily for Quigley.

• Smart Seniors: Felicia Chester and Sam Quigley were both named to Capital One Academic All-District Five® team... Chester was named a first-team selection, while Quigley earned second-team honors... Chester, who is majoring sociology with a concentration in cultural studies and a minor in psychology, boasts a 3.83 GPA and will appear on the national ballot... Quigley, who graduated cum laude with her undergraduate degree in Physical Education in June 2010, is currently pursuing her Masters in Educational Leadership and boasts a 4.0 GPA in her graduate studies

• A 10-game streak:  DePaul's 10-game winning streak came to an end at Arizona State on Dec. 21... during the streak which started on Nov. 23 at UIC and continued through DePaul's 91-71 win over then-No. 3/2 Stanford on Dec. 16... DePaul has won 10 in a row four other times -- 1982, 2004 and 2007... a 10-game winning streak  is the fifth longest winning streak in DePaul's 37 seasons... during its 10-game streak this season, the Blue Demons have averaged 83.3 points per game, while holding its opponents to 58.6 points... average margin of victory is +24.7 points... DePaul scored 80 or more points in six games while its lowest scoring output was 67 points at BIG EAST Conference foe Pittsburgh... during the streak, Keisha Hampton (16.7), Sam Quigley (11.5) and Felicia Chester (11.5) all averaged double figures... DePaul outrebounded its opponents 39.8 to 34.0... Taylor Pikes (6.8), Katherine Harry (6.6) and Felicia Chester (6.2) are each averaged more than six rebounds per game... DePaul shot .500 (305-for-610) from the field while holding it opponents to just .359 (209-for-582)... the Blue Demons had an assist on 208 of its 305 field goals (68.2 percent) during the streak.
