USA Tunes Up with Brazil in Washington, D.C.

Watch Online: ESPN3 CHICAGO – DePaul head coach Doug Bruno and the USA Women’s National team takes on Brazil Monday afternoon in Washington, D.C. at the Verizon Center. The USA women’s team plays at 4:30 p.m. CT and is followed by the USA men also facing Brazil at 7 p.m. CT. Both games will be televised on ESPN2 and President Obama is expected to be in attendance. Bruno is an assistant coach for the USA women’s team under head coach Geno Auriemma. The team has had just two practices at American University. In one of the practice sessions, the team faced a squad made up of men including U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. Monday’s game is the first of four exhibition matches prior to opening pool play at the London Olympics on July 28 against Croatia. Following the Brazil game the team heads to England for an exhibition game against Great Britain on July 18. The remaining two warm-up contests will be played in Turkey on July 21 and 22 against Croatia and Turkey.
