CHICAGO - DePaul head women's basketball coach Doug Bruno just returned from the London Olympics and helped the USA Women's Basketball team to an unprecedented fifth-straight Olympic Gold.  Bruno, who served as an assistant coach, will join Randi Belisomo at 3 p.m. today on WBEZ (91.5 FM) to recap his Olympic experience during the "Afternoon Shift."

Working with the best players in the world, Bruno aided head coach Geno Auriemma (University of Connecticut) and fellow assistant coaches Jennifer Gillom (Washington Mystics) and Marynell Meadors (Atlanta Dream).  The 2012 edition of the USA Women's National Team extended its Olympic winning streak to 41 games or since the Bronze medal game in 1992.

Prior to serving on the Olympic coaching staff, Bruno was an assistant coach for the 2010 USA FIBA World Championship Team and helped the American women earn a 9-0 record and a gold medal.
