Women's Basketball Announces 2013-14 LPTV Coverage

CHICAGO - DePaul women's basketball and Lakeshore Public Television have announced a partnership that will allow for at least six games to be televised during the 2013-14 basketball season.
The games on LPTV will allow for at least 11 women's games to be broadcast, along with Fox Sports 1 coverage, during the regular season alone. A regular on local, regional and national broadcasts, the Blue Demons were televised 10 times during the 2012-13 regular season and an additional four times during postseason play.
The LPTV slate starts with the Blue Demons' December 16 home game against Dartmouth. The channel has also committed to carry DePaul's conference match-ups with Providence, St. John's, Marquette, Seton Hall and Butler.
DePaul kicks off its 2013-14 campaign with the Maggie Dixon Classic from November 8-9 at McGrath-Phillips Arena. The Blue Demons will face Harvard in their season opener, scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. tip on Friday, Nov. 8.
