CHICAGO – Following Friday’s win, the No. 25 DePaul women’s basketball team returns to the court at 7 p.m. on Saturday to tangle with Dayton in the Maggie Dixon Classic Championship at McGrath-Phillips Arena.

The Blue Demons (1-0) reached Saturday’s championship game behind a balanced attack that saw three players—Brittany Hrynko (18), Anna Martin (14) and Katherine Harry (11) reach double-figures in their 87-57 win over Nicholls State on Friday.
A signature of DePaul’s offense – the ability to find the open player -- was showcased at its finest with Chanise Jenkins, Martin and Hrynko combining for 17 of the Blue Demon’s 22 assists.
Dayton (1-0) advanced to the championship game with its 93-59 victory over Mississippi Valley State. Led by Ally Malott’s 19 points, the Flyers saw five players reach double figures.
Saturday’s game marks the first time since the 1994-95 season that DePaul and Dayton have squared off. The Flyers lead the all-time series 9-7 while DePaul has won the last three series meetings.
Mississippi Valley State and Nicholls State play in the consolation game of the Maggie Dixon Classic at 5 p.m.
Following Saturday’s game, DePaul hosts Howard (Nov. 17) and Yale (Nov. 19) before heading to the US Virgin Islands for three games, Nov. 22-24.
