Harry once again exceled on the glass with the senior grabbing 12 rebounds against the Eagles.  On the year, Harry has paced the Blue Demons on the glass in each game while she is averaging a BIG EAST Conference best 12 rebounds per outting. She is also the only player in the league to grab double-digit rebounds in four games this season.

The Pirates shot just 19.3 percent from the field in the loss while their 34 points were the fewest scored this season.  Hampton is led by Keiara Avant’s 19.2 points while she also leads the Pirates in free throws (38-for-46) and rebounds (10.6).

Friday’s game marks the second Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference team the Blue Demons have played this season.  DePaul defeated Howard, 68-51 on Nov. 17 and is 2-1 all-time against schools from the MEAC.   This is the first ever meeting between the Blue Demons and Pirates, while Hampton is the three-time reining MEAC Conference Tournament Champion.

Following Friday’s game, the Blue Demons close out the Paradise Jam with a 4:30 (AST) game with South Carolina.
