CHICAGO -- The DePaul women’s basketball team returns to Lincoln Park and hosts Milwaukee on Tuesday.  The game tips at Noon and has been designated "Field Trip Day" for Chicagoland elementary students at McGrath-Phillips Arena.  The game can be followed on DePaul’s BlueTube and gametracker while in-game scoring updates and notes can be followed at www.twitter.com/DePaulWBBSID.

Field Trip Day is a DePaul Athletics service project which provides local elementary children a glimpse of college life and for some it is their first time on a college campus.  The Athletics Department provides free busing and game tickets to children from the city and surrounding suburbs.  DePaul’s Field Trip Day is in its sixth year while the event normally draws a sold out crowd of enthusiastic young Blue Demon fans most in their first blue DePaul t-shirt.

DePaul (6-3) is looking to bounce back from its 96-64 loss at Kentucky on Dec. 7 while it has won its last three games at McGrath-Phillips Arena.

The Blue Demons are led by sophomore guard Brittany Hrynko’s 14.2 points.  The Philadelphia native also ties for first in the BIG EAST with 3.0 triples per game while her .375 percentage from behind the arc ranks tenth.

Hrynko and her fellow guards – Anna Martin and Chanise Jenkins provide DePaul with a potent front court.  The trio combines for 75.3 percent of DePaul’s assists with Jenkins ranking second in the conference with 5.0 assists per game.

Milwaukee (4-5) is in the midst of a three-game road swing and is coming off an 83-59 loss at Toledo on Dec. 8.  The Panthers are paced by Angela Rodriguez’s 13.2 points while she also leads the team in free throw percentage (.917) and 3-pointers (21).

Tuesday’s contest is the fourth all-time meeting between the two programs and the first since 2005 season.  DePaul leads the all-time series 3-0 and is 2-0 in games played at McGrath-Phillips Arena.

Following Tuesday’s game, the Blue Demons return to the court and host Northern Illinois at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15.
