The DePaul women's soccer team shut out Valparaiso 1-0 on a rainy Sunday evening at Wish Field.

Career
Four-time member of the BIG EAST Conference All-Academic Team.

2012 (Senior): Played 21 games as a forward in the 2012 season... scoredthree goals and hadone assist throughout the season... assisted a goal in DePaul's 3-0 victory over Ohio... scored both goals against Connecticut... scored thegame-winning goal in the 1-0 win over Valparaiso1-0.

2011 (Junior): Competed in 18 games with 17 starts... had an assist at Marquette and another assist against Villanova... finished the season with 17 shots, including four against Cincinnati and three each against Louisville and Minnesota... registered shots on goal against Illinois State, Cincinnati, Louisville and Marquette.

2010 (Sophomore): Started all 22 games... scored a goal against Iowa in season-opening victory and also scored a goal against Connecticut... had the assist on Lauren Pagone's goal in 1-1 tie with Missouri... tallied five points on two goals and one assist... took 22 shots with nine on goal.

2009 (Freshman): Named to the BIG EAST Conference All-Academic Team... played in all 21 games with 14 starts... had two goals and two assists for six points... tied for third on the team in points... took 13 shots with nine headed for the net... scored first collegiate goal in a 3-2 upset of Northwestern and also scored the game-winner in a 2-0 victory over Butler... started in the final nine matches of the season, including the BIG EAST Conference Championship tournament opener against USF.

High School: Two-time DuPage Valley All-Conference performer was listed among the top-20 soccer players in the Chicago area by the Chicago Tribune for 2009... four-year varsity player received All-State recognition in 2007... received All-Academic honors four years... played club soccer with the Naperville Soccer Association.

Personal: Daughter of John and Cindy Blumberg... has two siblings, Julie and Ryan... intended major Marketing.
