BIG EAST Recognizes 2011-12 All-Academic Team

A total of 150 DePaul student-athletes were honored by the conference

Career
Four-time member of BIG EAST Conference All-Academic Team.

2012 (Senior): Did not see action on the field.

2011 (Junior): Played in nine matches and started all nine... recorded a shutout against Loyola, giving her 16 career shutouts, second all-time to Lindsey Deason with 18.5... was the winning goalkeeper against Loyola Chicago and Minnesota, and came away with a tie against Louisville... made 43 saves in nine games including 10 saves against Louisville and nine against Milwaukee.... had a goals against average of 1.58.

2010 (Sophomore): Played in 16 matches with 16 starts... registered shutouts against Iowa, St. Bonaventure, Michigan State, Drake, Loyola-Chicago and Rutgers... finished with an 8-6-2 goalkeeper record... gave up 16 goals for a goals-against average of 0.95... came away with 62 saves for a save percentage of .795... recorded 10 saves against Michigan State... had nine saves against Missouri... finished with six saves against Iowa.

2009 (Freshman): Earned BIG EAST Academic honors... started in all 21 matches... set a school record with nine shutouts... named BIG EAST Conference Rookie of the Week... opened the season with five shutouts in first seven games... those early shutouts came against Loyola-Chicago, Toledo, No. 11 Missouri, Drake, Butler... the 1-0 upset of Missouri was DePaul's first victory over a nationally ranked team... also recorded shutouts against Illinois State, Cincinnati, Seton Hall, Providence... had a goals-against average of 1.06... made 70 saves on the season... made 10 saves against Pittsburgh and seven saves against Wisconsin... had five saves against Drake, Illinois State... made five saves against USF in DePaul's first-ever BIG EAST Conference Championship tournament match.

High School: Among the top goalies in the state, this two-time, All-State selection set an Illinois High School Association career record with 73 shutouts...led the Warriors to state championships in 2007 and 2008...four-year letter-winner paved the way to supersectional titles in 2007 and 2008 along with sectional titles in 2007 and 2008 and regional titles in 2007. 2008 and 2009...Warriors won the Upstate Eight title in her freshman, sophomore and junior seasons...played on national runner-up club team Eclipse Select in 2008 and won five state championships on the club level.

Personal: Daughter of Cathy Hanold...has one sibling, Kenny...intended major in Marketing.
