Molly Borchardt to Represent DePaul at BIG EAST Meetings
CHICAGO - Molly Borchardt, a member of the DePaul women's soccer team, will represent DePaul at the annual BIG EAST Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Spring Meetings in Providence, R.I. The meetings bring together student-athletes from all 16 BIG EAST member institutions on Mar. 27-28 at the league's headquarters in Providence. In addition to meetings covering aspects of the student-athlete experience, Borchardt and the BIG EAST's finest will be involved in a community service activity at Crossroads, a local homeless shelter, where they will be interacting with children. Borchardt is the secretary of the DePaul Captains' Council and enters her senior season next year with the women's soccer team. "We have been eager to send Molly to one of the Big EAST meetings for some time now and this is the first that her schedule will permit it," said DePaul Associate Atheltics Director Kathryn Statz. "Molly has been involved in our student-athlete leadership group for several years now and will be an excellent representative of DePaul."
