Women's Soccer Adds Fourth National Letter of Intent For 2009
CHICAGO DePaul women’s soccer coach Erin Chastain announced today that Renee Ruminski has signed a National Letter of Intent to play at DePaul next season. She joins Kelly Blumberg, Chelsea Grant and Claire Hanold to make up the freshman class for the 2009 campaign.
Ruminski has played three seasons of varsity soccer at St. Charles East. The Saints are in the midst of the Illinois high school playoffs with a regional championship game slated for this weekend. Ruminski has earned Academic All-Conference honors while the 2007 St. Charles East team claimed Regional and Sectional Championships. She has also played club soccer since 2003 with Strikers Fox Valley.
Blumberg, Grant, Hanold and Ruminski join the returning roster in early August to begin training camp for the 2009 season. DePaul enters its fifth season as a member of the BIG EAST Conference next year.
