DePaul Hosts Loyola at Wish Field

CHICAGO – The DePaul women’s soccer team plays the second of four straight home matches when they host Loyola on Monday afternoon at 4 p.m.  The Blue Demons enter the match at 5-5-1 while the Ramblers are 2-5-1.

Since starting the season 5-0, the Blue Demons have lost five of their last six matches.  The lone non-loss was a 2-2 tie against South Florida on Sept. 21.  In Conference USA play, DePaul is 0-3-1.  Christy Young leads the team with five goals and two assists.  Colleen Ahearn, Kelly Kammer and Ogonnaya Dotson-Newman have scored three goals apiece.

Loyola enters Monday’s match having lost four of their last five games.  On Sept. 30, the Ramblers defeated Idaho State, 1-0.  Katie O’Connell leads the team with a pair of goals while Regina Nierzwicki has tallied three assists this season.  The Ramblers are 1-1 in Horizon League play.
