Julianne Sitch Earns All-Conference USA Honors
CHICAGO – DePaul freshman midfielder Julianne Sitch was honored by the Conference USA coaches by being named the All-Conference USA second team and the league’s All-Freshman team. Sitch helped the Blue Demons to their program-first 10-win season.
In 19 matches this season, the Oswego, Ill., native set the programs single-season scoring record with 21 points on eight goals and five assists. The freshman recorded at least a goal or an assist in eight of the 19 games while leading C-USA with 83 shots. Twice she recorded a season-high four points with a pair of goals against Tulane and a goal and an two assists at Northern Illinois.
As a team, the Blue Demons set new school records in wins (10), goals (29), shutouts (7) and goals against average (1.20).
