Nov. 9, 2017

CHICAGO – The 2017 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District® Women’s Soccer Teams have been released, recognizing the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. Senior Elizabeth Endy of the DePaul women’s soccer team was among the District 5 recipients in 2017 as a First Team selection.

With her selection as a District 5 honoree, Endy is now eligible for the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team.  The Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes in eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and College Division. The College Division includes all NAIA, Canadian and two-year schools.

Endy carries a 4.0 grade point average while double majoring in accounting and finance.  Upon graduation in June, Endy will begin her full-time career with Deloitte, based in Chicago, where she will work as a consultant for the accounting firm.

On the field, Endy started all 19 games for the Blue Demons in 2017.  She dished out two assists on the year while attempting one shot.  As a defender, Endy led DePaul to seven shutouts on the season.

Endy finished her Blue Demon career sixth all-time in matches played (79) and second in all-time career starts (79), never having missed a match in her four seasons with DePaul.

The Blue Demons finished the 2017 season with a 7-7-5 record, reaching the BIG EAST tournament quarterfinals.
