Blue Demons Await NCAA Bid
The NCAA will announce the 64-team bracket for the 2003 Women's College Cup at 3 p.m. on Monday. DePaul earned the automatic bid for Conference USA by winning the league's championship on Saturday in a penalty kick shootout.

CHICAGO – The DePaul women’s soccer team will gather this afternoon to find out who their first-round opponent is in the 2003 NCAA College Cup.  The selection show will be aired live on ESPNews beginning at 3 p.m. CST.  The Blue Demons earned Conference USA’s automatic bid by winning the league’s tournament on Saturday afternoon.

This will be the first NCAA appearance for the Blue Demons following their first conference championship.  Conference USA Player of the Year Julianne Sitch was named the tourney’s Offensive MVP while goalkeeper Lindsey Deason picked up Defensive MVP honors.  Joining them on the All-Tournament team were Erin Walter and Lauren Spacht.
