The DePaul softball team could not get the bats going in the finale of the Alexis Park Resort Classic on Sunday, as the Blue Demons fell to Wisconsin, 9-0.
Offense was on full display in the nightcap of the second day of the Alexis Park Resort Classic on Saturday night. The DePaul softball team lost a slugfest to Idaho State in its second game of the evening, 10-5.
The DePaul softball team lost a non-conference contest to New Mexico State on Saturday afternoon at the Alexis Park Resort Classic, 8-6. The Blue Demons (6-10) were held to six runs on six hits and also committed six errors.
Despite leading for the first three innings, the DePaul softball team surrendered seven runs in the bottom of the fourth to drop a 12-4 decision to UNLV on Friday evening.

Coming off their most successful weekend in 2015, the Blue Demons travel to Las Vegas, Nev. for the fourth time in as many seasons for a four-game stint at the Alexis Park Resort Classic, Feb. 27-March 1. DePaul is set to take on Idaho State, New Mexico State, UNLV and Wisconsin over a three-day stretch.
