CHICAGO – DePaul softball travels to Northwestern on Wednesday, April 19 for a 4 p.m. Central time game at Sharon J. Drysdale Field against the Wildcats.

Live stats and video will be available for the crosstown rival game. BTN2Go will broadcast the game that does require a subscription.

Originally, the two programs were scheduled to play one another on Wednesday, May 3, but weather forced the game up a two weeks.

DePaul (22-16, 7-4 BIG EAST) enters the contest on a four-game win streak after notching a win at Illinois State and a series sweep over Providence at home over the weekend.

Missy Zoch earned BIG EAST Softball Pitcher of the Week for her performances throughout the four games. Notably, Zoch allowed just five hits among the four outings and struck out a total of 16 batters in 14.1 innings pitched.

As a whole, the Blue Demons pitching staff boast a 3.92 ERA and have tallied 183 strikeouts compared to their opponents 145.

The DePaul squad has also surpassed its opponents at the plate, notching 33 homers compared to its opponents 15. Nicole Pihl leads all with 10, while Megan Leyva, Dylan Christensen, Alysia Rodriguez and Haydn Christensen each have five. Morgan Greenwood recorded her collegiate home run in the final game against Providence last weekend.

Northwestern Scout (16-23, 3-9 Big Ten):
The Wildcats return after dropping a three-game series at No. 5/5 Minnesota over the weekend. Sabrina Rabin leads the squad with a .330 batting average and 28 runs. On the pitching staff, Kaley Winegarner boasts a 3.18 ERA and has four wins on the season.

Northwestern holds a 39-20 series advantage over the Blue Demons. Last season, DePaul notched a 4-3 victory over the Wildcats at home.

The DePaul softball team ended its regular season at home on a high note with a 4-3 victory over crosstown rival, Northwestern Wednesday evening at Cacciatore Stadium.
