CHICAGO - DePaul has enhanced its strength and conditioning program with the addition of Chris Dresher to its talented staff.

The new Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning will be working with volleyball, men's soccer, women's tennis, golf and cross country.

Dresher joined the Blue Demons' athletics department on Wednesday after spending one season with Florida's strength and conditioning program where she worked with men's basketball, men's and women's golf and men's tennis.

She also traveled with the Gators' women's tennis team for tournaments during the indoor and outdoor seasons.

"I am extremely happy to welcome Chris Dresher to the DePaul program," said Mac Calloway, Director of Strength and Conditioning. "Chris comes highly recommended from other coaches that I respect in the strength and conditioning field.

"She is a young professional that is dedicated and eager to learn. She is a fantastic addition to our department and I expect great things from her."

Dresher spent the 2009-10 season as an intern with the George Washington strength and conditioning program and worked with men's and women's basketball, men's and women's cross country and volleyball.

She comes to Lincoln Park with a Master's of Science degree in Exercise Science from George Washington and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from GWU.
