Kling Advances to Round of 16 at All-American Pre-Qualifier

PALISADES, Calif. -- Three members of the DePaul women's tennis team wrapped up play on day one of the ITA All-American pre-qualifier in Palisades, Calif., on Saturday.
Jasmin Kling posted two victories in singles play to advance to the Round of 16 in the singles draw. In her opening match, Kling topped UCLA's Morgan Thomas (6-1, 6-2) and then outlasted Marie Faure of Virginia, 6-7, 6-4, 6-4, to cap the day. Kling will face Georgia's Lily Kimbell tomorrow at 9 a.m. PT.
In the doubles draw, Vladutu and Kling fell 8-1 to Long Beach State's duo of Rozenburg and Unden.
