DePaul Women's Tennis Takes Six Singles Matches on Day Two at WMU

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The DePaul women's tennis team continued to storm through the brackets at the WMU Super Challenge, winning six singles and three doubles matches on day two at West Hills Athletic Club.
The Blue Demons dropped just one solo competition as all six winners finished off their opponents in straight sets.
Jasmin Kling and Kelsey Lawson were both 6-2, 6-0 victors and Ana Vladutu dropped just three games to Western Michigan's Nini Sujashvilli (6-2, 6-1). Freshman Jarret Fisher pushed her undefeated record to 11-0 with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Penn State's Katherine Whiteaway.
Rebeca Mitrea also improved to 11-1 on the weekend with a 6-4, 6-4 decision against Marquette's Rocio Diaz. DePaul's final single win went to Zaina Sufi, 6-2, 6-4, over Indiana's Gabrielle Rubenstein.
In doubles, Kling and Cutura teamed up to post two wins over opponents from Indiana and Louisville to clinch a 3-0 weekend and their bracket.
Singles play will resume tomorrow morning.
