CHICAGO - Coming off back-to-back losses to begin the dual season last weekend, the DePaul women's tennis team will look to rebound during a three-match weekend featuring a road match with Milwaukee before a pair of home contests against Butler and Eastern Michigan.

The Panthers enter the weekend 1-1 after splitting road matches at IUPUI (W, 6-1) and at Ball State (L, 5-2). Horizon League Player of the Week Maddy Soule leads the Panthers and posted four wins last weekend in matches against IUPUI and Ball State, becoming Milwaukee's all-time leader in singles wins with 59.

Butler is off to a 1-2 start in dual play, posting a home win against Dayton, 5-2, to start the year before dropping back-to-back matches versus Western Michigan (6-1) and at No. 51 Indiana (7-0). The Bulldogs have a new head coach, Tayo Bailey, and return a pair of All-Horizon League performers from a year ago in juniors Stephanie McLoughlin and Caroline Hedrick.

EMU stands 2-4 overall entering the weekend with wins at IPFW and versus Nebraska-Kearney. The Eagles four losses have all come on the road, including a 7-0 defeat at the hands of No. 17 Nebraska.

Last weekend the Blue Demons fell against No. 46 VCU and No. 68 Auburn at the 2013 ITA Kick-Off in Chapel Hill, N.C.

The Blue Demons will meet the Panthers on Friday at 3:00 p.m. in Milwaukee, Wisc. before returning home to Lakeshore Sport & Fitness to take on Butler Saturday at 3:00 p.m. DePaul then wraps up the weekend with a Sunday match against Eastern Michigan at 1:00 p.m.
