Women's Tennis Drops a Pair
DePaul falls to 50th-ranked Western Michigan and Indiana over the weekend.

CHICAGO – The DePaul women’s tennis team had a tough weekend, dropping matches to 50th-ranked Western Michigan and Indiana.

 

“It was a tough weekend and we lost to two great teams,” DePaul head coach Mark Ardizzone said. “We really need to step up when we play the highly ranked teams but we played hard and I am happy about that.”

 

DePaul had two singles victories against Western Michigan from Gergana Ganeva at No. 1 and Dunja Antunovic at No. 2. The lone singles victory against Indiana came from Antunovic at No. 2.
