Women's Tennis Sweeps Indiana Weekend
CHICAGO - The DePaul women's tennis team continues to impress this season. The 75th-ranked Blue Demons beat 56th-ranked Indiana 5-2 and then swept Indiana State 7-0 over the weekend. Against the Hooisers, the Blue Demons got a pair of doubles wins from Karen Falduto and Natalie Matko at No. 2 and Rachel Dybas and Megan Stewart at No. 3. The bottom of the singles lineup came up big with wins from Matko (No. 4), Falduto (No. 5) and Dybas (No. 6). "It was a very nice win for our team," head coach Mark Ardizzone said. "Indiana was a little undermaned but we played well. It was great comeback by second doubles gave us great momentum. The bottom of the line-up really took charge."
