Women's Tennis Rolls Past Bradley
The top doubles flight saw Dunja Antunovic and Bojana Murisic post an 8-2 DePaul win over Elise Montrose and Jessica Buterbaugh. Kirsten Gambrell and Anja Mihaldinec rolled past Kim Braun and Teri Chan, 8-2, in the second flight. Bradley won No. 3 doubles by default.
Antunovic extended her singles winning streak to 10 matches with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Montrose in the top flight. The DePaul sophomore improved to 14-1 in dual season singles action and is a perfect 11-0 when playing in the No. 1 spot. In addition, Antunovic broke into the national rankings this week at No. 77.
The Blue Demons earned a point from Gambrell in the second singles match as she defeated Emily Regenold, 6-0, 6-2. Murisic delivered a 6-4, 6-2 win over Chan at No. 3 singles, while Mihaldinec rolled past Kelly Donohue, 6-1, 6-1, in the fourth match. Bradley won the sixth singles match by default.
